Who is this Aimed at:

Anyone wishing to start judging Acrobatic Gymnastics.

What To Expect:

A combination of eLearning, videos and knowledge checks to introduce you to the rules, regulations and principals of judging Acrobatic Gymnastics. You will work through several modules that highlight key information to provide the knowledge required to identify errors, apply appropriate deductions, calculate your score effectively and begin your judging journey.

In addition, there is an online practical assessment which you must pass to be awarded the qualification.

Delivery Method:

Online eLearning.


Approx 3 hours plus 2x 45 minute assessments. However, the course is made up of several modules which can be completed separately at a pace that suits you.

What Resources Are Included:

You will be able to download the presentation slide notes to assist your completion of the online learning and use for reference.


Qualification at Club level judging.

How Will I Be Assessed:

You will be assessed by completing two separate practical judging assessments. One for Execution and one for Artistry, each with 10 routines for you to watch and submit your score. The pass mark is 80%.

How Long Before I Get Qualified:

Once you have successfully completed the assessments you will be able to upload your certificate and start judging.



Pre Requisites:

You must be at least 14 years old.

If you are new to Judging and have little or no experience, you may want to enrol to access the ‘Recreational Gymnastics Judging Resource’. This resource is free of charge and covers judging foundation skills, recognising good technique and several useful additional resources which include judging symbols, recording your scores and practice videos.

You will be assessed by completing two practical judging assessments. One for Execution judging and one for Artistry judging, each with 11 routines. The first one is a practice routine followed by 10 for you to watch and submit your score. The pass mark is 80% (8-10).

Both Assessments need to be passed to complete your qualification. You can retake the assessments as many times as you need if you are unsuccessful.
