Who is this Aimed at:

Club Judges who would like to progress to Regional Judge.

What To Expect:

This course is made up of 3 tutor-led virtual sessions delivered in our virtual classroom.

- Session 1: 3 hours

- Session 2: 3 hours

- Session 3: 3 hours

You must attend all sessions in full. 

The course will cover Execution evaluation, Artistry evaluation and Difficulty Judging.You will need to have a copy of the Code of Points and the Tables of Difficulty to use during the course sessions. 

You must also attend a virtual assessment. You will submit scores via an online form whilst viewing assessment material, therefore you must have access to either: 

  1. A laptop or PC with two screens, or 
  2. A laptop pr PC and an additional mobile device such as smartphone or tablet.

Delivery Method:

A tutor-led course which must be attended in full.  

 Three virtual tutor-led sessions and a virtual assessment. There will be a minimum of two weeks between the course dates and assessment date to allow you to practise and reflect on the course material.

 To attend these virtual sessions, you will need access to a PC or laptop as mobile devices are not compatible.

Duration:

Virtual Session delivered in our virtual classroom

- Session 1: 3 hours

- Session 2: 3 hours

- Session 3: 3 hours


Followed by (minimum of 2 weeks later):

Session 4: approximately 2 hours (Virtual Assessment)

What Resources Are Included:

You will be able to download handouts of the presentation slide to assist with completion of the course and to take notes during the delivery of the course material.

It is also recommended that you download the latest version of the Acrobatics (2022-2024) Code of Points and Tables of Difficulty.

How Will I Be Assessed:

You will complete your assessment via the virtual classroom a minimum of 2 weeks after the course completion.

The Assessment is Practical only. You will need to complete the following:

- 10 Execution scores

- 10 Artistry scores

- 5 Difficulty scores

 Advice on sitting your assessment:    
- You must ensure you have the appropriate equipment and internet connection (WiFi).
- You must ensure you are able to sit your assessment in an environment free from distraction. We do not recommend being in a public space.
- You should not sit your assessment in the same room as other judges who are also sitting the assessment.
- There should not be anyone present who could distract or influence your scores.     

You will be required to submit your assessment scores via an online form whilst viewing assessment material, therefore you must have access to either:    

  1. a laptop or PC with two screens, or 
  2. a laptop or PC and an additional mobile device such as a smartphone or tablet. 

How Long Before I Get Qualified:

As soon as you have your ‘Competent’ results confirmed.

Pre Requisites:

You must be 17 years old to attend this course. However, you will not be awarded Regional Judge until your 18th birthday.

Learner must be at least 17 years old on the first day of the course
