Continuing professional development (CPD) is the maintenance and development of the knowledge and skills needed for you to perform effectively, safely and to a high standard in your role. It can boost your confidence, strengthen your professional credibility and help you become more creative in tackling new challenges. CPD activities can range from formal activities such as tutor-led courses or workshops to more informal approaches such as mentoring or self-directed eLearning and further reading.
We believe CPD is important in any gymnastics role, wherever you are in your career. There are some CPD obligations dependant on your role e.g. coach, instructor or welfare officer. In other instances, you should try to take accountability for the direction of and activities you engage in for your CPD.
We are always growing our CPD offer; look out for the different options available to you on the CPD course page. If you have any suggestions for CPD you think would be of benefit to any of our workforce please send your suggestions to firstname.lastname@example.org
