Governance

British Gymnastics is responsible for regulating the sport of gymnastics in the UK, together with our home country governing bodies. Our aim is to promote high ethical standards that are applicable to all members and affiliated organisations. The rules and regulations are determined by the BG Board and strive to be fair, transparent and efficient.

Diversity statement from the British Gymnastics Board: -

"We recognise the value of having a diverse Board and are committed to progressing towards greater diversity within Board and leadership positions.

We will aim to maintain gender parity with a minimum of 30% of each gender on our Board and will also demonstrate a strong and public committment to achieving further diversity, including, but not limited to, Black, Asian, minority ethnic (BAME) diversity and disability.

We will advertise proactively appropriate Board vacancies in a wide-ranging and targeted manner ensuring that the vacancies reach the widest demographics attracting those from all backgrounds with the appropriate skills."
