Profile

Louis' strongest event is the pommel horse on which he took Olympic bronze in 2008 and Olympic silver in 2012. The 2012 Olympic team bronze brings his medal haul to 3 making him Britain's greatest ever Olympic gymnast. He returned to GBR action in 2015 taking European Championship pommel horse gold and World Championships team and pommel silver and then at the 2016 European Championships he was part of the team that won silver. Having been named in the 2016 Olympic Games Team GB squad, Louis proved his qualities on the pommel once more, winning individual silver as well as being part of the team that finished 4th.
