Back-to-back all-around silver medals at the 2016 and 2017 British Championships proved that Gemma is now one of the best rhythmic gymnasts in Britain. In 2016, she won medals in all four apparatus finals as well, before winning ball gold in 2017. After heading to Australia's Gold Coast with Team Wales for the 2018 Commonwealth Games, Gemma returned to defend her British ball title, taking gold as well as winning bronze medals in the all-around, clubs, hoop and ribbon.
