Work complete at Esprit Gymnastics Club
Facility development work at Esprit Gymnastics Club in Swindon has recently been completed. Last year the club moved to their new facility at Headlands Grove and have since been working hard to develop and improve the facility. Esprit were successful in gaining a grant from the British Gymnastics Facility Fund that has supported the development.
The new centre boasts a main hall with both a rhythmic and artistic floor, vault, beam and asymmetric bars. It has an apparatus/recreational room with other equipment including a landing pit. Additionally the facility has a range of ancillary rooms including a dance study, martial arts centre offices, club shop, parents area and reception.
British Gymnastics Club Development Manager, Dave Marshall said, "The centre looks fantastic and will provide many opportunities for local people to access gymnastics. Esprit have been a great club to work with and we are delighted to have been able to support the project. Mark and Debbie Howes and the rest of the club deserve huge credit for delivering such a brilliant facility."
The other 2 projects who received facility funding this financial year from British Gymnastics are also progressing well. South Essex GC's new facility is due to open next month and building work at Europa GC is progressing fast.
