British boys win 'Olympic hopes' event.

Great Britain’s men’s artistic junior team has won the 'Olympic Hopes' event in Liberec with Jay Thompson topping the all-around standings.

Six teams took part in this junior international:  GBR, HUN, AUT, SVK, POL, CZE.

Great Britain stood out strongly and put in some excellent work starting on rings. Tulloch impressed the crowd with a rock solid 15.850 from 16.600 on Rings. Vault paid off handsomely earning a 3.5 mark advantage over 2nd placed Hungary showing the British lads ability on this apparatus. Parallel bars was a 13+ round of class routines lifting the scores another 3 marks ahead. High bar and floor required some careful work and a couple of falls showed. The team finished on pommels which proved challenging and gave the team their lowest scores, but by the last round GB had a very healthy lead.
