2012 TRA/TUM/DMT Europeans - Day one

Bailey__Strong_AEP460611/01/12: The 2012 trampoline, tumbling and DMT European championships began with the preliminary rounds of the synchronized trampoline for seniors and juniors.

The first Brit's to take to the trampoline were juniors Megan Petit and Rhianna Andrew, the girls performing well in both the set and vol routines to score 78.600 (35.6 and 43.0) and secure a place in the finals qualifying in 4th for GBR.

 

Teammates Katy Buitendyk and Isabelle Songhurst followed with scores of 31.9 and 42.8 giving them a total of 74.700, good enough for 11th in the rankings.

The seniors followed up with Nathan Bailey and Luke Strong competing strongly for 2nd spot in the men’s prelims scoring 89.300 (39.5 and 49.8). In the women’s event Kat Driscoll and Amanda Parker qualify through in 3rd (82.500) with Laura Gallagher and Bryony Page unfortunately having difficulties leaving them down in 15th.
