2012 TRA/TUM/DMT Europeans – Day four

Laura_Gallagher53514/04: The final day of the 2012 European trampoline, tumbling and DMT championships and yet again the British gymnasts were amongst the medals with superb performances across all the disciplines.

- In the senior trampoline individual finals James Higgins finished in 6th with 55.30. In the women's Amanda Parker finished in 4th with 53.760 with Laura Gallagher taking a sensational European bronze with 53.940, an historic result for a GBR gymnast.

- Rachael Letsche is the European senior tumbling CHAMPION. She scored 65.200 to take the gold alongside Korobeynikova of Russia, with Zara Maclean in 4th (63.200).

-In the DMT senior final Georgina Varley scored 63.800 to give her the bronze, with Mia Taylor in 5th (62.200).

- In the men’s DMT, Matthew Swaffer took a brilliant silver medal his two passes scoring him 67.900. Peter Cracknell also made the final and placed in 8th spot.

- Kristoff Willerton took the senior tumbling bronze with 71.900 just enough to give the British champion his podium place.

- Lucie Colebeck made it the perfect week by adding individual GOLD to her team gold in the junior tumbling. Lucie took the title by over a point with a score of 64.300.

- Greg Townley took the European silver in the tumbling. His score of 71.500 just .3 off the top spot with teammate Steven Gilmore in 8th place.

 - Nathaniel Scott who is in action in both the trampoline and DMT took the DMT bronze, with a score of 67.700, Daniel Berridge finishing in 6th (62.800). In the DMT women’s final, Georgia Downing finished in 4th with 63.400 with Sapphire Dallard in 5th, 63.100.

- In the synchro finals, junior pair Megan Petit and Rhianna Andrew took 4th place. In the senior competition, Kat Driscoll and Amanda Parker hit a clean routine to score 47.7 and take European silver. The men’s pair of Nathan Bailey and Luke Strong put in a very strong performance to also take silver with 49.7.

- In the under 21s TRA finals, Sophie Lewis finished in 8th with 47.565 and Nicole Short in 4th with 49.705. In the mens Luke Strong produced a fantastic routine to take silver with 56.760.
