4/8/12- North Greenwich Arena: Team GB’s Kat Driscoll finished a fantastic 9th in the women's trampoline qualifications; the best result for a female GB trampolinist since its introduction to the Games.

Unfortunately, Kat was just one place shy of making the final but she put in two superb performances to secure Britain’s best ever result. Kat began with her compulsory routine where she went clean and was cheered on by an incredibly supportive crowd. In her voluntary routine she again went through clean putting in a fantastic performance to end in 9th place.

In the final, Rosannagh Maclennan (CAN) wowed the crowd with a strong performance to take the gold ahead of Huang Shanshan (CHN) in silver and favourite He Wenna (CHN) in bronze who fell on her last bounce.

Kat Driscoll: "I'm proud of my routines but to just miss out on the final in front of a home crowd is pretty devastating. It's the highest ever finish for a Brit and the experience was unbelievable, something I'll never forget. People say the crowd can be pressure but for me it’s like having a big hug, it was amazing!"

GB – Kat Driscoll – 9th
