Congratulations to GB men’s artistic gymnast Courtney Tulloch on winning the prestigious SportsAid One-to-Watch Award beating more than 1,700 other athletes to the prize.
Courtney took up gymnastics at only six years old and was selected for the British National Squad aged only eight. He is an incredibly dedicated young man whose performances on the world stage are homage to his intense training. He commits 25 hours a week to training and this paid off again this year when he was crowned the 2012 Junior European rings Champion as well as collecting gold with his team at the same event. He also won silver on rings at the 2012 British Masters finals in Liverpool as a junior against several senior gymnasts. Courtney is always striving to be the best he can be and even when he wins gold, he manages to spot areas for improvement. He is a role model to aspiring young athletes of all disciplines.
Congratulations to both Courtney and his coach on such a fantastic achievement.
