With Laura’s progression though the British ranks all going to the perfect plan Laura now looks ahead to Glasgow and the chance to test herself against The Commonwealth nations as she explains: “The Commonwealth Games has been a target for me for a long time because it feels amazing to represent your country and to do it at such a big competition would be amazing. Seeing Frankie Jones win a medal in Delhi for Wales in 2010 motivated me even more because I knew that one day I wanted to do the same. At the moment I am preparing for some competitions that are coming up in the next few months which I am using to get as much competition experience as possible before the Commonwealths next year. I am using the competitions also to see what is and isn't working in my routines so that we can sort out any problems as soon as possible.”
