The 2016 artistic gymnastics season is well underway with Britain’s top gymnast in action at home and abroad.
The final round of the FIG World Cup Series took place in Stuttgart with London Olympian Rebecca Tunney continuing her successful return to competitive action placing 7th with 52.032 points, the highlight being her bars routine scoring 14.366.
In the men’s event 2016 World Championships squad member James Hall placed 9th scoring 81.165 with his top score coming on floor of 14.733.
Alongside the World Cup was the DTB Team Challenge where the GBR team of Frank Baines, James Hall, Kristian Thomas, Courtney Tulloch, Nile Wilson took the gold with Ukraine in silver and Brazil in bronze, full results here.
Back home, the 2016 English Championships took place at Loughborough University as the build up to the British Championships continues. Claudia Fragapane and Sam Oldham were crowned the senior all-around champions, full results here.
