Our women’s under 15 and men’s under 18 teams dominated their respective four-way international events on the weekend of 30th April– 1st May. Both teams were competing against Switzerland, France and Germany with the women competing in Volketswil, Switzerland and the men in Monheim, Germany.
Our women’s team of Taeja James, Megan Parker, Sophie Scott, Ellesse Oates, Zoe Simmons and Lucy Stanhope took the their team title with 162.600, nearly one whole mark ahead of their closest rivals France with 161.750. Switzerland finished third with 160.750 and Germany fourth with 158.100.
Britain’s Taeja James finished top in the all-around event with 54.100 with teammate Megan Parker hot on her heels in second with 53.700. On the individual pieces of apparatus, Sophie Scott tied for first place on the vault (14.200) with Megan taking the top spots on bars (13.450) and floor (13.550).
Over in Germany our men’s team of Giarnni Regini-Moran, Hamish Carter, Joe Fraser, Jamie Lewis, Joshua Nathan and Donell Osbourne were nonetheless impressive taking their title by over eight marks scoring a total of 334.800 ahead of Switzerland in second (326.700), France in third (325.950) and Germany in fourth (325.300).
In the all-around rankings, Giarnni Regini-Moran took the top spot with 84.450 with teammate Hamish Carter close behind in second with 84.300. Across the apparatus, Giarnni scored the highest on the floor (14.900) and the vault (14.950) and Joshua Nathan scored top on pommel horse (14.00).
