The senior tumbling and double-mini trampoline (DMT) finals were the highlight on the last day of the 2016 British Trampoline, Tumbling and DMT Championships at Echo Arena, Liverpool.
Kristof Willerton was crowned the men’s senior British tumbling champion with Rachel Davies taking the women’s gold medal. The senior double-mini trampoline titles went to Nathaniel Scott and Sapphire Dallard.
Rachel who trains at Deerness Valley Gym Club scored 136.200 points for the tumbling British title ahead of Pinewood’s 2015 champion Lucie Colebeck (134.900) and teammate Yasmin Taite (130.600). Kristof (Andover) took the men’s title with 148.900 just ahead of Wakefield’s Elliott Browne (148.100) and Derby City’s Greg Townley (145.700).
OLGA's Sapphire scored 133.600 for the DMT title with City of Edinburgh’s Caitlin O’Brien in silver (129.200) and Birkenhead’s Bethany Williamson in bronze with 129.100 points. Velocity's Nathaniel retained his DMT title scoring 142.20 with Ben Atkins in silver (142.100) and Daniel Sale bronze (141.900).
