The final day of the 2016 Championship Series saw British titles decided in acrobatic and rhythmic gymnastics, medals awarded in the Micro TeamGym Challenge and more captivating display performances in our Gym for Life Challenge.
In the senior rhythmic apparatus finals, Esprit’s Laura Halford came back from disappointment in the all-around final to grab two titles in the clubs and ribbon. Newly crowned all-around champion Stephani Sherlock took the ball title to add another gold to her collection, with rising star Gemma Frizelle wowing the crowd to take the hoop title.
In the acrobatic British finals there were some stunning performances with some young and emerging partnerships looking to impress. In the senior women’s group, gold went to Honiton Gym Club’s Kaisha Dessalines-Wright, Louise Miller and Sammy Britten.
