The 2017 Trampoline, Tumbling & DMT World Championships will take place in Sofia, Bulgaria from the 5th – 8th November and the British team has today officially been announced.
Double Olympian Kat Driscoll (Apollo) heads up the women’s trampoline team, alongside newly crowned British Champion Laura Gallagher (Quayside) and former Junior European and World Age Champion Isabelle Songhurst (OLGA).
Over in the powerful tumbling event, the women’s team will be World Games medallist Lucie Colebeck (Pinewood), former junior European Champion Rachel Davies (Durham), World team silver medallist Yasmine Taite (Pinewood) and former World Age Group Champion Ashleigh Long (Wakefield).
The men’s team consists of 2017 British Champion Greg Townley (Derby City), former World Champion Kristof Willerton (Andover), World Games finalist Elliott Browne (Wakefield) and former World Age Group medallist Kallum Mulhall (Birmingham).
In the DMT events, World Games competitor and 2017 British Champion Kirsty Way (OLGA) leads the way for the women alongside 2017 British silver medallist Phoebe Williams (Heart of England), 2017 British bronze medallist Bethany Williamson (Birkenhead), and 4th place finisher at the 2017 British, Kim Beattie (Banchory).
In the men’s team is newly crowned British Champion Benjamin Atkins (Liverpool), 2017 World Games finalist Andrew Houston (Liverpool), 2017 British silver medallist Daniel Berridge (Heart of England) and 4th place finisher at the 2017 British, Reece Noden (Marriots).
