Triple gold and two bronze for GB as Acrobatic Gymnastics World Age Group Competitions begin

Great Britain have begun a strong campaign at the 2018 Acrobatic World Age Group competitions, taking three world titles and two bronze medals in the 11-16 year old categories.

The mixed pair of Cheri-May Cunningham and Joseph Hill wowed the crowds and the judges with a beautiful performance to take the title with and impressive score of 28.450.

The women’s group, Molly Berry, Sumaiya Hines and Trudie Roper performed a stunning routine, choreographed to a Michael Jackson remix and posted the highest score of all partnerships in the competition with 28.800.

The women’s pair, Sasha Carpenter and Poppy yates also follow suit with another high score of 28.400 to beat off their rivals.

The men’s group of Jack Clegg, Bradley Gold, Jake Turner and Harry Watson had some tough competition but fought well for a brilliant bronze and 27.300. Men’s pair, Andrew Morris-Hunt and Archie Goonesekera also took the third spot on the podium, impressing with a 27.250.
