We're celebrating #VolunteerWeek

It’s Volunteer Week (1st-7th June) and we would like to say thank you to those that give up their time every week supporting the sport of gymnastics.

Without the hard work and dedication of our volunteers, our clubs, events, committees and so much more just wouldn’t be the same.

There are tens of thousands of dedicated, committed and busy people who volunteer to make gymnastics happen every day, giving endless hours of their time.

Geoff Grant, Volunteer Manager said: "Volunteer Week represents a common opportunity to recognise what our volunteers do in support of our sport. Whilst we support this 110%, in reality every week is Volunteer Week, and is full of opportunities to demonstrate that they are valued, appreciated and to thank them for everything they do.

"As a volunteer, you are giving up the most precious thing you can - your time. There can never be enough opportunities to thank people for doing that."

If you know a volunteer in gymnastics that goes above and beyond, you can now nominate for both the Young Volunteer and Volunteer of the Year Awards which will be presented at the 2019 National Awards.

If you would like to get involved and volunteer there is no better time to register your interest.
