Olympic silver medallist Bryony Page has claimed the World Cup bronze medal in Arosa, Switzerland.
In her first international event since Rio, Bryony scored 55.120 for the bronze with teammate Kat Driscoll scoring 54.930 to place in 4th.
For Bryony, who has suffered injury difficulties since the Olympics, her return to competition could not have gone much better, she said:
“I am really pleased that my return to international competition has started strongly. My rehab from ankle surgeries has been a long and challenging process so I have been looking forward to this moment for a long time and I am just so happy it has gone well. It has given me confidence that I can compete at the level I want to and now I can’t wait for the next competition and opportunity to represent my country again!”.
In the associated Nissen Cup event, Andrew Stamp took the junior men’s gold scoring 56.895 points with Jessica Clarke taking the women’s gold with 50.915.
