Trampoline gymnasts Kat Driscoll, Bryony Page, Laura Gallagher and Luke Strong have all gained important qualifying points for the 2020 Olympic Games in Tokyo, at the opening World Cup event of 2019 in Baku.
With the top 30 earning points that go towards Olympic qualification, all four gymnasts did just that.
In the women’s event, silver medallist from the Rio Games, Bryony Page, finished 11th with a score of 101.870, Kat Driscoll scored 100.300 for a 19th place finish, and Laura Gallagher scored 100.215 for 20th.
In the men’s event, Luke Strong also picked up valuable points with a 20th place finish, scoring 109.100.
Bryony picked up 20 qualifying points for her 11th place finish, Kat 12 points and Laura and Luke scored 11 points each. Find out more about the qualifying process.
