British team for 2019 European Championships announced

A strong GB team has been announced for the 2019 European Championships, taking place in Szczecin, Poland, from the 10th-14th April.

Defending European all-around champion Ellie Downie is joined in the women’s competition by current junior European all-around bronze medallist and first year senior Amelie Morgan, Commonweath Games beam champion Alice Kinsella, and 2018 British all-around champion Kelly Simm.

Joining double-Olympic champion Max Whitlock MBE in the men’s competition will be 2017 European all-around bronze medallist James Hall, Joe Fraser who finished in all-around 5th at the European’s in 2017, 2018 European bronze medallist on rings Courtney Tulloch, 2018 British all-around champion Brinn Bevan and the current European floor champion Dom Cunningham.

The Championships will see Europe’s best senior gymnasts battle for individual titles in all-around and apparatus finals.
