Bryony Page and Laura Gallagher produced impressive routines to secure 5th and 6th place at the trampoline World Cup in Belarus.
The results are the British team’s best of the season, and ensure they picked up a strong amount of points towards Olympic qualification.
With the very best trampoline gymnasts from around the world competing, Bryony qualified in 7th place, scoring 103.110 across her two routines, with Laura placing 8th with 102.295.
Then in the final, both improved their scoring to climb the leaderboard; Bryony taking 5th with 55.275 for her routine and Laura 6th with 55.020.
The result means Bryony picks up 38 qualification points and Laura 32.
Also competing in the women’s event was Kat Driscoll who finished in 22nd in qualification, scoring 100.320 to pick up nine points.
In the men’s event Corey Walkes competed in his first World Cup this year and scored 106.270 in qualification to finish 29th. It was also great to see Nathan Bailey return to competition following injury, scoring 56.635. Unfortunately Luke Strong wasn’t able to complete both of his passes during qualification.See the full results.
