Frank Baines has taken two medals at the FIG World Challenge Cup event in Slovenia, winning gold on parallel bars and silver on high bar.

Having qualified through in 6th and 4th respectively, Frank saved his best work for the finals, executing both routines brilliantly to score 14.450 on parallel bars to claim top spot on the podium, and 14.050 on high bar which was good enough for silver.

First year seniors Jamie Lewis, Adam Tobin and Pavel Karnejenko were also competing for the British team, with each of them making finals of their own.

Having qualified in 3rd place for the pommel final Jamie narrowly missed out on a medal, scoring 13.650 to finish in 4th.

Pavel made it through to two finals, finishing 6th on rings (13.450) and 7th on vault (13.900), and Adam also made two finals. He scored 13.350 on pommel for 6th place, and he also finished 6th on high bar with a score of 13.250.

Congratulations to all of our gymnasts and coaches.
