UK Coaching has revealed the names of coaches selected onto its Performance Foundation coach support programme, which is designed to help coaches maximise their potential and impact.
In total, 47 new coaches from 17 summer and winter Olympic and Paralympic sports have been welcomed onto the 18-month programme with men’s artistic coach Jake Seager and trampoline coach Zoe Brookes taking their places in the prestigious programme.
British Gymnastics’ Performance Coach Developer Bobby Crutchley, said: “Once again, we are delighted to have coaches accepted onto UK Coaching’s coach support programme. At British Gymnastics, we see it as a fantastic opportunity for some of our most talented coaches to develop their skills and learn alongside coaches from other sports. We have already seen the programme’s positive effect on the delivery of coaching within our performance pathway.”
This cohort is the programme’s third, having helped nearly 100 performance foundation level coaches finesse their practice so far. Find out more here.
