Artistic and acro gymnasts in action across busy weekend of competition

James 750x500
British artistic and acrobatic gymnasts will both be in World Cup action this weekend, with events taking place in America and Portugal.

Our artistic gymnasts head to Milwaukee for the American Cup. Exciting first year senior Jennifer Gadirova will compete in the women’s event, with Olympic hopeful James Hall competing in the men’s.

This is the first of four all-around World Cups that will take place over the next month, and will include events in Stuttgart, Birmingham before concluding in Tokyo on 5th April. With Olympic qualification available to the top three scoring nations in both the men’s and women’s competitions, there’s a lot to play for! Read our guide to the artistic World Cup events.

Our acrobatic stars compete in Maia, Portugal, as their competition season intensifies. With the World Championships team announced earlier this week, three of those senior pairs and groups will take to the competition floor in Portugal.

The new mixed pair partnership of Dylan Howell and Nyree Williams are in action, as are men’s pair Sam Large and Sammi Nassman, and the men’s group of Max Crawford, Kieran Holbrook, Andrew Morris-Hunt and Cameron Patrick-Lothian.

You'll be able to find the full results when the competition begins here.

Good luck to all gymnasts and coaches.
