Be part of the Disability Gymnastics Panel

Oliver Kettleborough 750x500
You can now apply to be part of the very first British Gymnastics Disability Gymnastics Panel.

In line with our strategic aim to provide more opportunities for disabled participants, the Panel will be formed this year, and we’re delighted to announce that the application process is now open.

Before you apply, here is everything you need to know.

What is the Disability Gymnastics Panel?
The Panel will focus on ensuring that British Gymnastics members have equal opportunities regardless of disability.

We are looking for members who are forward thinking, open-minded and are passionate about shaping the future of Disability Gymnastics.

The group will aim to influence, shape and drive inclusive opportunities within each discipline and ensure that British Gymnastics members have equal opportunities regardless of disability.

Made up of a number of individuals from a range of disciplines, the panel will meet formally on a quarterly basis and will be kept connected through other forms of communication when required.

What is the role of the Panel?
As well as driving participation and competitive opportunities for disabled participants, it will also ensure that disability gymnastics has a presence and is considered and recognised within all disciplines of the sport. Additionally, the Panel will play a role in supporting the creation and implementation of new resources, and act as the main point of contact for any disability specific queries from within the gymnastics community.

How can I apply?
